Do you love to have nuts on hand for cooking, baking, or snacking? I do! It can be hard however to keep nuts tasting fresh and stopping them from going rancid tasting. I have found that when I keep my nuts in a Ziploc bag in the freezer, they last MUCH longer. Nuts are so expensive, you don't want them to go bad before you use them. This trick can help keep them fresh for up to 6 months.

What is my favorite nut?? Pecans & cashews! They are SO delicious in salads, carmelized, in meals, and as a snack. Save money and buy your nuts at Costco, that is the least expensive place I have found ;)
