Passing on a time saving tip!

Thanks Sheereen for passing on the following tip. If you are like me, and you don't love chopping onions, this is a great time saver that will help speed up dinner..and save money:

"When I get a good deal on onions and celery I stock up. At home I chop them up, double bag them in Ziploc freezer bags and keep them in the freezer. This has saved me so much time on busy nights. The celery isn't crunchy when defrosted but if I'm cooking it anyway who cares. This summer I bought a forty pound box of roma tomatoes for $5.00(they were getting old) and I did the same thing. Frozen tomatoes make for great homemade spaghetti sauce."
